This comet has surface features with sharp edges and even overhangs, so it probably has significant material strength (but is that just a crust on the outside?) and is not "just" a rubblepile. Also notable are several jets coming off the nucleus, perhaps arising due to pressure that builds up underneath the crust and then spews off in episodically.

When will the comet sample get to Earth?

I _think_ it's due to drop off the package in early 2006, using the old military technology (once used for film canisters before CCDs) of parachuting into the atmosphere and being snagged by a plane before it hits the ground.
