Much ado about nothing

On average, Hallowe'en falls on a Sunday one out of every seven years. Get over it.

I guess I don't see why it matters that it's on Sunday. For those who are opposed to Halloween on religous grounds, then I would think that they'd want to boycott it regardless of which day of the week it was.

BTW- I went to a small church in north Georgia last weekend, and the preacher encouraged kids to come to church in costume. But he did say provided they got their parent's approval and that he didn't want devils in church. That seemed extremely accomodating to me. Personally, I think halloween costumes might be a distraction from the purpose of church service. But if the preacher works it into the sermon well, then maybe it can be a good thing.
