Fun with boxes!
I am moving tomorrow. We were going to move on Friday, but this morning the mover called and said, hey, it would be better for us if you move tomorrow instead! That's why I'm posting this instead of doing what I should be doing: putting things in boxes. I just hope it doesn't rain again. There's been flooding and stuff, although luckily our house is on a hill. (As a side note, I found my login info while packing! :)

Whence and whither are you moving?
Sorry I took so long to reply, but I don't have an internet connection yet at home. We're going to have to get dialup. :( Our new house is in the woods! It's on five acres. It's sort of modern looking (it's a California ranch house). Once I get my computer set up I can email you a picture of it if you want. :)
What does it mean to not have an internet connection? Is that possible? Aren't there laws to protect people from that sort of fate?
Dialup. What's that? Isn't that from the days of Victrolas and horseless carriages?
Well, cable and DSL aren't available. When we looked at the house, we saw Verizon people installing conduit for their FiOS service, but it's not available yet (maybe in October).
How could you agree to live somewhere without cable or DSL??? Doesn't that violate the minimum guarantees of the Geneva Convention (which the US finally decided to follow today-- yippee).
Wait... were you going to email a picture of the house, or of the computer? :-)
